Registration for Tinker Bell Half Marathon and other Disney running updates

Registration begins this week for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland in 2016.

Registration for all of the running events during the weekend May 5-8 begins Aug. 11, 2015 noon EST at www.rundisney.com. You might want to be at your computer and ready to register.

In addition to the 13.1-mile half marathon on May 8, the weekend also includes:

• The Never Land 5K on Friday, May 6,
• The runDisney Kids Races on Saturday, May 7. 
• The runDisney Health and Fitness Expo Thursday through Saturday May 5-7, 2016 at the Disneyland Hotel.

There are still spaces available for a couple of other running events:

• The Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon at Disneyland on Nov. 15, 2015 still has room it is only 89 percent full.
• The Walt Disney World Marathon on Jan. 10, 2016 is only 86 percent full.
• Registration for the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon begins Oct. 6, 2015. The event is taking place Sept. 23-25, 2016.
