New Markus Lupfer Mickey Mouse knitwear collection is unveiled

Designer Markus Lupfer went through the Disney archives to find images for the a new Mickey Mouse-fronted knitwear collection.

“I was so excited to look through the Disney archives and really bring a sense of nostalgia to our exclusive range. I was so inspired by the original hand drawings of all the characters that I really wanted to bring them to life on our signature sequin jumpers,” Lupfer said in a press release.

Ranging from the “Dancing Vintage Mickey” sweater to “Winking Mickey” are part of the 100 percent merino wool and soft cotton in the five-piece line.

The collection is now available throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S. Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Net-A-Porter.com (UK/ US), Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Colette, I.T, Lane Crawford & www.markuslupfer.com are selling these for about $410.
