Update on registration for Disney half-marathon and marathon events for 2015
Even as runners prepare to register on June 16, 2015 for the 2016 Star Wars Half Marathon in Disneyland, there are still two upcoming runDisney events.
Here is an update on the various runDisney events coming up:
The Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon at Disneyland is only 81 percent full. The half marathon is taking place on Nov. 15, 2015. The special weekend is Nov. 12 to Nov. 15, 2015.
The Walt Disney World Marathon is only 72 percent full. The 26.2 mile race goes through all four Walt Disney World parks and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The marathon is on Jan. 10, 2016. The marathon weekend will be held Jan. 6 to Jan. 10, 2016.
The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be held Feb. 18 to Feb. 21, 2016 at Disney World. Registration for that race goes on sale July 14, 2015.
