A dozen guests at Disney World stuck on Kali River Rapids were rescued Thursday afternoon by firefighters, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The ride at Animal Kingdom was stopped due to some sort of malfunction, Bo Jones, assistant fire chief for Reedy Creek told the newspaper.

None of the passengers were injured. Firefighters were called to the scene at 1:21 p.m. and by 2 p.m. everyone was off the ride, Jones said.
