Expansions confirmed for Soarin’, Toy Story Mania at Disney World

The Disney Parks Blog today confirmed a long-standing rumor: Both Hollywood Studios’ Toy Story Mania and Epcot’s Soarin’ will be expanded to increase capacity — and, hopefully, decrease lines.

To accomplish this, Toy Story Mania is getting an additional track, and Soarin’ is getting another theater. In addition to the expansion, Soarin’ will get updated screens and projection systems. Both projects are scheduled to be complete in late 2016.

We’ll keep you up to date on when (or if) the rides will be closed to accommodate the work.
