8 NFL team logos inspired by Disney characters
Disney has a long history of creating logos – usually for the military. But it also has allowed a sports team to use one of its beloved characters as a logo – Donald Duck.
The University of Oregon received permission from Disney to use Donald as its mascot, but think, wouldn’t other football teams benefit from a revamp of their logos with Disney charters?
What about Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” as part of the Little Miami Dolphins, Captain Hook and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Woody from “Toy Story” for the Dallas Cowboys, or Dusty from “Planes” for the New York Jets?
Well, graphic designer Mark Avery Kenney of AK-47 Studios, decided to give it a try and merged Disney characters with NFL team logos. Here’s 8 of our favorites:
