‘Frozen’ soundtrack ranked Billboard’s No. 1 best-selling album of 2014

“Frozen,” the Academy Award winning movie, has received another milestone with the soundtrack being ranked the No. 1 best-selling album on the 2014 year-end Billboard 200 chart.

This is the first time a soundtrack has reached No. 1 since “Titanic” in 1998 and the first Disney soundtrack since Mary Poppins in 1965, according to a news release.<

The album spent 33 weeks in the top 5 on the Billboard 200 and is certified triple Platinum – selling more than 3.6 million copies.
