Finally the animals at Disney World are getting their due. Not the animated ones —  the real ones.

Disney World has launched a new section on its website to introduce all to the animals living at Animal Kingdom.

DisneyAnimals.com gives detailed information on the African Lions, Asian Tigers, Rhinoceros, African Elephants, Western Lowland Gorillas,  Cotton-Top Tamarins, Sea Turtles and Migratory Birds. In addition, it has information about the Sharks located in Epcot at The Seas with Nemo.

The site does not go anywhere near listing all of the animals housed at Disney World, but it is a good start. The section contains information on the animals as well as animal conservation information. The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund was founded in 1995 and has funded more than $20 million in conservation efforts.
