Set your DVR for 13 nights of Disney Halloween programming
Disney’s ABC Family channel is gearing up for a spooktacular October, with 13 nights of Halloween programming beginning Oct. 18.

| The Nightmare Before Christmas |
You’ll see plenty of Tim Burton, including “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Beetlejuice.” More highlights: Monsters Inc. and the Toy Story of Terror special from Pixar; Coraline; ParaNorman and, on Halloween night, Poltergeist.
Disney also has scheduled Halloween-themed episodes of its most popular shows, including “Pretty Little Liars,” “Melissa & Joey” and “Baby Daddy.”
Not everything on the schedule is a classic; we’re pretty sure you haven’t been hankering to see “The Haunted Mansion” again.
There also are a lot of “encore presentations,” but a couple of notable things are only on the schedule once, including: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Parts 1 and 2, on Oct. 19; Toy Story of Terror on Oct. 19; the “Pretty Little Liars” fan-appreciation special on Oct. 21; and Poltergeist on Oct. 31.
