Disney and its licensees have seven toys on an annual Hot 20 holiday toy list released today — including two from “Frozen,” the only property with more than one item on the list. That’s pretty impressive in a toy world that includes the likes of Star Wars and the Marvel super heroes.
The list is released every year by Adventure Publishing Group’s Toy Insider and represents what experts think will be most popular this year.
“It’s going to be a frozen Christmas, ice cold,” Laurie Schacht, president of Adventure Publishing, which produces toy-industry magazines, told Bloomberg News. “The appeal is so broad, and it’s such a wonderful story that parents are happy to put merchandise like this in their kids’ hands.”
The two Frozen items on the list area singing Elsa doll and a “Sing-Along Boombox.” If the kids don’t know what a boombox is, it’s basically a portable karaoke machine loaded with songs from the movie.

Disney Frozen Cool Tunes Sing-Along Boombox
Little princesses can sing their hearts out with this boombox inspired by the hit
movie, Frozen. Kids can use the real microphone to rock out to built-in music,

Disney Frozen Snow Glow Elsa
This interactive doll emits 15 sounds and phrases from the movie, Frozen.
Touch her necklace to light up her dress and raise her left arm to hear her sing
32 seconds of “Let It Go” by Idina Menzel.
Disney Princess Palace Pets: Magic Dance Pumpkin
Cinderella’s pet, Pumpkin, comes to life and says more than 12 phrases
and sounds, follows movement commands from the light-up magic wand controller,
and performs two pre-programmed dance sequences.
Doc McStuffins Get Better Talking Mobile
Help toys in need just like Doc! A motion-activated siren lights up and plays
the “Doc Mobile” song. The Talking Mobile is equipped with a light and sound
EKG, a bandage sticker dispenser, a working CB, and a gurney.
Tsum Tsum Plush Collection
These collectible, stackable plush come in kids’ favorite Disney characters.
Available in three sizes, kids can stack the bean-filled, fuzzy plush
to build a tower of cute and cuddly friends.
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes
New Marvel Play Sets and characters allow players to enter the Marvel universe.
The Starter Pack includes the 2.0 Edition video game and base; Iron Man, Thor,
and Black Widow figures; The Avengers Play Set piece; and two Toy Box game discs.
Lego Star Wars Rebels the Ghost
Battle the Empire with the Rebel heroes’ starship, as seen in the Star Wars:
