Video: Disney CEO takes the Ice Bucket Challenge and calls on Tony Stark and Peter Quill

Disney CEO Bob Iger joined the myriad of people taking the Ice Bucket Challenge and doused himself with a bucket of water to raise awareness for ALS.

The challenge involves getting a bucket of ice water dumped on you while on video, posting it on social media and then nominating others to do the same. Those who refuse to take the challenge are asked to make a donation to the ALS charity of their choice. And note, that many people who have taken the challenge are still donating to the cause.

The Ice Bucket Challenge went viral with the help of Massachusetts resident Pete Frates and his family. Frates has lived with ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, since 2012,.

Disney’s Iger was challenged by Apple CEO Tim Cook. And Iger went on to nominate three characters – Olivia Pope (from ABC’s “Scandal”), Peter Quill (from Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy) and billionaire playboy Tony Stark (also known as Iron Man) – to take the challenge. Now, those are videos, I’d like to see!
