
UPDATED: D23 Calendar of events for July-December 2014
Here is an updated look at the official Disney fan calendar of events for the rest of 2014, which includes the third year in a row of a traveling fan show, movie screenings and member mixes.
July 26 & 27: Destination D: Attraction Rewind presented by H20 Plus, Walt Disney World Resort
brings Disney archivists, Imagineers, Legends and luminaries together to celebrate fan favorites such as Adventure Thru Inner Space, If You Had Wings, and20,000 Leagues Under the Sea with rarely seen concept art and images; vintage video clips; and revealing stories.
Aug. 2: D23 Day at The Walt Disney Studios and Archives, Burbank, Calif.
Aug. 10: Disney Fanniversary at the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts.
Aug. 16 & 17: Disney Fanniversary at The Walt Disney Family Museum.
Sept. 6: Disney Fanniversary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
Sept. 13: Disney Fanniversary at the Seattle Public Library
Sept. 20: Disney Fanniversary at the Walter C. Hill Auditorium, High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
Sept. 26: Disney Fanniversary at the U.S. Naval Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
Sept. 27: Special Aladdin on Broadway event with a premium seats and a special Q&A with the cast.
Oct. 25: Disney Fanniversary at the Atlantic Dance Hall, at the Boardwalk Resort at Disney World
Nov. 11: D23 Members are invited to be among the first in the U.S. to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame during its run at La Jolla Playhouse. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and featuring the Oscar-nominated score from the 1996 Disney animated classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dameis the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical theater, Disney Legend Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz.
Nov. 15: “The Little Mermaid,” a special screening inside the historic Studio Theatre at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank.
