Marvel’s Avengers exhibit coming to New York on May 23
A new exhibition based on The Avengers will open May 23 at Discovery Times Square in New York City.
Visitors are recruited to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and enter S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) headquarters. There they can experience information from intelligence files, classified studies, and experiments that explores the history and scientific origins of Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and others, according to a press release.
“Visitors will also be given unprecedented access to some of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most highly guarded artifacts recovered after the Battle of New York such as Captain America’s Birth Pod, the Tesseract Portal Device, Loki’s Scepter, a hermetically sealed Chitauri and more,” the release states.
The exhibit is in collaboration with Victory Hill Exhibitions, Marvel Entertainment, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Academy of Sciences.
