Festival of Fantasy Parade Photo Tour: Little Mermaid float

The Little Mermaid is the next float in the Festival of Fantasy Parade tour.

The parade, which debuted at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World in March features seven floats. This is the third float in our photo tour.

Ariel and her friends sit atop a seashell music box. A conga dancing fish line kick up their fins and bubbles. Fabrics and intricately designed costumes for the Lion Fish, Coral Fish, Seashell and Sea Horse performers are runway-inspired. It also took 16 hours in an oven it to create each piece of coral for the Little Mermaid float.
