‘Captain America: The Winter Solider’ breaks April box office record
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” had a record breaking weekend, debuting to a box office take of $96.2 million.
The movie set a new record for the month of April.
If “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” follows “Thor: The Dark World’s” pattern, it could end with take of over $230 million total, according to Box Office Mojo.
The previous record for April was “Fast Five.” with an opening of $86.2 million.
