Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom will end in June

Another parade at Disney World will come to an end this year.

Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom will end in June, a Disney World spokesman told the Orlando Sentinel.

Construction or the new Avatar land area at the park is causing the parade to end.

The 15-minute parade has Mickey Mouse and his friends on a safari in a caravan. This parade debuted Oct. 1, 2001. In 2004, a holiday version of the called Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade began.

Earlier this year Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade at the Magic Kingdom ended with the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade scheduled to begin in March 2014.

In April 2013 the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun parade at Hollywood Studios ended.
