‘Frozen’ goes over the $900 million box office mark

“Frozen” has now gone over the $900 million mark worldwide, closing in on “The Lion King’s” box office record.
“Frozen” opened in China this weekend with a $13.7 million for a total box office take of $913 million. “The Lion King” has made $987 million worldwide and is the highest-grossing hand-drawn film in history. 
Next month “Frozen” opens in Japan and could break the $1 billion mark. 
Here is a look at the Top 10 highest grossing Disney films:

1. “Marvel’s The Avengers” – $1.518 billion
2. “Iron Man 3” – $1.215 billion
3. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” – $1.066 billion
4. “Toy Story 3” – $1.063 billion
5. “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” – $1.045 billion
6. “Alice in Wonderland” (2010) – $1.025 billion
7. “The Lion King” – $987 million
8. “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” – $963.4 million
9. “Finding Nemo” – $936 million
10. “Frozen” – $913 million
