Walt Disney Animation announces Wreck-It Ralph 2
In a special Facebook live announcement, Walt Disney Animation announced it was making another sequel, this time “Wreck-It Ralph 2.”
The movie is slated to be in theaters on March 9, 2018.
Rich Moore who directed the original “Wreck-It Ralph,” was joined by “Wreck-It Ralph” screenwriter and Phil Johnston actor John C. Reilly, who provided the voice of Ralph, to make the announcement on Facebook.
The only hint about the new movie was Reilly teasing, “It’s top secret but I’ll tell you this much,” he said. “Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the Internet.”
The original 2012 video-themed animated movie, starred Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch. The movie made $71 million worldwide and received an Oscar nomination.
