Paul Rudd tapped to be ‘Ant-Man’ in Marvel movie

Paul Rudd will play the lead role in Marvel’s “Ant-Man” set to come out in 2015.

Rudd who is currently in “Anchor Man 2: The Legend Continues,” has also starred in “This Is 40,” “I Love You, Man,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Knocked Up,” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.”

Rudd had long been director Edgar Wright’s choice to star in the movie, according to Marvel.com.

In “Ant-Man,” Biochemist Dr. Hank Pym uses his latest discovery, a group of subatomic particles, to create a size-altering formula. Though his first self-test goes awry, he develops an instrument that helps him communicate with and control insects.
