The new service will allow you to bring up to two dogs per guest room at the Yacht Club Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Art of Animation and the cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney announced today.

Sorry cat owners, only canines welcome.

Disney has created outdoor pet exercise areas and green spaces with pet relief areas. Day care and other pet services are offered nearby at the Best Friends pet care facility for a variety of fees.

At check-in, there is a Pluto’s Welcome Kit which includes a mat, bowls, a pet ID tag, courtesy plastic disposable bags, puppy pads and dog walking maps. Also included: a Pluto “Do Not Disturb” door hanger indicating to hotel staff that a pet is in the room.
These Disney resorts are now joining an number of hotels right outside of Disney World which already welcome pets for rates varying from $50 to $75 a night.
Dogs will still not be allowed in the parks, unless of course they are service animals.

Here are the Disney resorts’ per night/per room pet-cleaning rates:

Art of Animation Resort $50 per night

Port Orleans Riverside Resort $50 per night

Yacht Club Resort $75 per night

Cabins at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Resort $50 per night
