Disney will release ‘Ant-Man’ early but push back next ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie a year
Disney will release “Ant-Man” four month earlier next year but move back “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” from 2015 to 2016.
The fifth installment of the Pirates series was to be released in the summer of 2015, but will be moved back to the summer of 2016 but is still working on a script, according to Deadline.com.
The studio has an advanced outline, but would need to start production by February, meaning they would have to prep off the outline. Instead, the studio decided to move back the movie for a year.
In the meantime, Disney pushed up the release of “Ant-Man” to July 31, 2015 from Nov. 6, 2015. The filmed, based on the Marvel comic book follows Henry Pym, a brilliant scientist who invents a way to change size. But when that experiment goes awry, he discovers a way to communicate with insects.
