Angry Birds Star Wars II is released

The next installment of everyone’s favorite birds birds in space adventure has been released.

Angry Birds Star Wars II was released by Rovio Entertainment with what is being touted as the biggest lineup of new characters in an Angry Birds game, according to the Star Wars blog.

The latest game follows the story of Star Wars Episodes I-III and introduces characters such as young Anakin, Jango Fett, and Darth Maul. And for the first time, players can join the “Pork Side” and play as a bird or a pig.

“Angry Birds Star Wars II combines the rich worlds of both Angry Birds and Star Wars in a unique way featuring fan favorite characters from both the dark and light side of the Force,” Jami Laes, EVP Games, Rovio Entertainment, said on the site.
