‘Lone Ranger’ will premiere at California Adventure in Disneyland
Proceeds from the world premiere of the new Walt Disney Studios movie “The Lone Ranger” will benefit the American Indian College Fund, according to Disney,
The premiere will be held June 22 at Disney California Adventure complete with red carpet down Hollywood Boulevard.
The tickets were donated by Disney to the American Indian College Fund, which will offer them for sale to the public. Tickets are priced at $1,000. All the revenues will go to the college fund,
Johnny Depp stars as a newly imagined Tonto and Armie Hammer plays the Lone Ranger. Attending the premiere will be Silver, the Lone Ranger’s white horse.
The film opens in theaters July 3, 2013.
