‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ ending its run
After five seasons, Lucasfilm has decided to cancel “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and start working on a new show focusing on a different time period in the Star Wars timeline, according to StarWars.com.
The video has Supervising Director Dave Filoni talking about some of the remaining arcs in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
In addition a planned animated comedy show called Star Wars Detours (see a preview below) as been placed on hold until after Episode VII is made, according to the website. Detours was was created by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, and Todd Grimes.
“We are incredibly proud of the teams at Lucasfilm Animation for creating some of the most amazing animation ever produced for TV. Keep checking StarWars.com for new developments on these and future projects,” according to the company.
