Hong Kong Disneyland has finally turned a profit.
Seven years after opening the theme park saw an 18 percent increase in revenue from a year ago and an increase of visitors by 13 percent to 6.7 million, according to the South China Morning Post.
In 2011, the park opened two major attractions, Toy Story Land and Grizzly Gulch. Later this year, a new attraction Mystic Point – a Haunted Mansion style attraction – will open.
“Expansion is the number one factor of success,” Andrew Kam Min-ho, managing director of the park, told the website.
