Tokyo jeweler makes a $4.2 million Disney Christmas Tree
Looking for a special Disney Christmas tree? Well the Ginza Tanaka jewelry store in Tokyo has one for you. It’s made of 88 pounds of gold. The price – $4.2 million, according to NTD Television.
This 7-foot 10-inch high tree, which is almost 4 feet across, contains “50 pure gold cut-outs of Disney’s most popular characters, including Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell and Cinderella, on its three revolving platforms,” the report states.
This is all being done to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Walt Disney.
Can’t afford this tree? That’s ok, they have a smaller version, the Disney Mini Christmas Tree. Standing only 10 inches high this tree features 20 silver Disney characters. The price, only $243,000.
