Disney World to host ‘Frankenweenie’ events
Walt Disney World is hosting a number of “experiences” this coming weekend in celebration of the movie ““Frankenweenie,” due out Oct. 5.
Since the movie is made by Tim Burton, there will be some Tim Burton movie experiences happening Sept. 28-30 at the Downtown Disney West Side. These will focus on two of Burton’s other movies, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
Special 3D screenings of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Alice in Wonderland,” featuring a 3D extended preview of “Frankenweenie,” will be available for $6 at the AMC Downtown Disney 24.
Showtimes for “The Nightmare Before Christmas” are at 4:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. and for “Alice in Wonderland” are 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
A Holland Pet Cemetery picture spot, allowing guests to have photos taken among the tombstones, as found in “Frankenweenie,” will take place from 6-11 p.,mm. between the movie theater and the Something Silver boutique.
And the first-ever meet and greet with Jack and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will take place from 6-11 p.m. between the movie theater and the Harley Davidson store.
