Florida man wins The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler at Disney World

A Jacksonville, Florida man beat out more then 15,000 runners to win The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Mile race at Disney World.

Marc Burget won the Oct. 4 race with a time of 56:53. Lynn Baione from Jensen Beach, Fla. took the women’s title, finishing with a time of 1:04:19 Saturday night.

The group of 15,000 ran from Hollywood Studios to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and then back again to Hollywood Studios. Those who finished received a The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler medal featuring The Hollywood Tower Hotel that glows in the dark, and has an elevator on it that moves up and down.
