Photos: Fashion icon Minnie Mouse attending New York Fashion Week for first time
Fashion icon Minnie Mouse is attending her first New York Fashion Week and is kicking of the visit in style with a trip to the Empire State Building.

Minnie has served as inspiration for designers over the years with her famous polka-dot look. She even now has an Instagram account @MinnieStyle dedicated “for all things Minnie inspired.”
Disney is encouraging is collecting various user-generated content that goes with Minnie’s style and posting those photos.
This will be Minnie’s first visit to NYFW, which runs Sept. 7 to Sept. 13, 2017.
After Minnie’s visit to the Empire State Building on Sept. 5, she headed over on Sept. 6 to visit Refinery29 to talk trends with Annie Georgia Greenberg, fashion editor at large, video producer and host.
According to WWD, Minnie also plans to attend a master class at Instagram with Eva Chen, head of fashion partnerships.
There is no indication she will attend a fashion show, but that would be great scene. And even a better scene would be Minnie attending one of the famous Friday night parties. Maybe she will show up.
