World Showcase will have 5 additional acts during 2017 Food & Wine festival

In addition to the famed Eat to the Beat Concert series, as part of the 22nd Epcot International Food & Wine Festival , there will be a number of additional performers around the World Showcase area of Epcot at Disney World during the festival.

Disney has announced on the Disney Parks Blog that there will be five additional act, two new and three returning for this year’s festival which run from Aug. 31 to Nov. 13, 2017.

Here’ the lineup.

Suroît: This band from Canada’s Magdalen Islands in eastern Quebec will make its Disney debut on the Mill Stage at the Canada pavilion Aug. 31 to Oct. 1. The band just celebrated 40 years with the release of the latest album “LA R’VISITE.” The band is a combination of Cajun, Celtic, bluegrass and rock music.

Margret Almer & The Bavarian Band: World-famous yodeler Margret Almer makes an encore appearance at Epcot. She’ll perform with The Bavarian Band at the Germany pavilion starting Aug, 31 through the holiday season.

Musique Aramenco: This band, which is a fusion of traditional and modern Moroccan music returns to perform at the Morocco pavilion Sept. 1 to Dec. 30.

Bodh’aktan: The band that mixes Quebecois, folk and polka returns to Epcot at the Canada pavilion Oct. 2 to Oct. 22.

Raffy: This Quebec band will make its Disney debut Oct. 23 to Nov. 26 at the Canada pavilion.In February 2011, the band was chosen among 150 groups around Quebec to become the official housebound on MusiquePlus music station.
