First peek at the new Frozen short — and holiday outfits

Parents, hold on to your wallets. A new “Frozen” short is coming this fall, and with it, new holiday outfits for the little Annas and Elsas in your lives.

The first trailer for “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” was released online today, and naturally, Anna and Elsa have new outfits for the occasion. Both suit the ladies perfectly — Elsa wears a regal, fur-trimmed off-the-shoulder number while Anna is in a more buttoned-up jacket and skirt. Both are in cool blues for the holidays.

The short, which has Olaf search for Christmas traditions the sisters can share, will debut with the Pixar original film “Coco” when it opens on Nov. 22. The trailer will run before “Cars 3,” which opens in theaters Friday.

The Disney Style Blog touted the new holiday outfits as “perfectly festive,” and noted Elsa’s “epic new cape” and Anna’s hair accessories. Given the attention, we’ll be expecting to see them in stores by fall.
