Disney unveils name of new Avatar attraction at Disney World

One of the names of the new rides coming to Pandora – The World of AVATAR at Animal Kingdom is the Na’vi River Journey.

The water adventure starts with guests venturing down the river in a canoe heading to Pandora. On the way, the canoes passes exact glowing plants and creatures. The journey ends with an encounter with a Na’vi shaman, Disney announced.

This ride will join AVATAR Flight of Passage, the main ride in Pandora where guests will be soaring on a Banshee over an alien world.

The Na’vi River Journey will open in 2017 with the opening of the new section of the park.
