Disney up for 9 Oscar nominations

Disney films received nine Oscar nominations this year, including one for “Into the Woods” and Big Hero 6.”

The 87th Academy Awards, will be broadcast live on ABC on Feb. 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. EST.

Best Actress In a Supporting Role: Meryl Streep in “Into The Woods”

Best Animated Feature: “Big Hero 6”

Best Animated Short: “Feast”

Best Production Design: “Into the Woods”

Best Makeup and Hairstyling: “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy”

Two for Best Costume Design: “Into the Woods” and “Maleficent”

Two for Best Visual Effects: “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier”
