Disney will start taking reservations for Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom in August
You will soon be able to start making reservations for the new Be Our Guest Restaurant in the revamped Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.
The Disney Parks Blog announced the restaurant will open by the holidays and guests will be able to start making reservations in August.
Chef Michael Deardorf has been in charge of Disney kitchens for 25 years, most recently as part of the opening of the restaurants at the Aulani Disney Resort in Hawaii.
Be Our Guest will have three dining rooms which will seat more than 500 people.
Lunch will be fancier quick service than in other restaurants. Guest-activated terminals will be used for ordering. After ordering, you head to a seat and food is delivered on china.
Dinner will be table service with “diverse starters such as a charcuterie plate with cured meats and sausages, mussels steamed in white wine, French onion or potato leek soup, and a salad with champagne vinaigrette,” according to the blog.
Entrées include a thyme-scented pork rack chop with au gratin pasta, rotisserie rock hen with roasted fingerling potatoes, pan-seared salmon in leek fondue, grilled strip steak with pommes frites, sautéed shrimp and scallops with veggies in puff pastry with creamy lobster sauce, and oven-baked ratatouille.
Desserts will include cupcakes, a chocolate cream puff and a passion fruit cream puff.
